Why this app needs to exist

Not because there's too little advice. Because the evening stays the same anyway. Our view of why TrustParent had to be built.

It's 8 pm. The dishes, the third round of teeth brushing, the "fine" when you ask about school. You've read the books, you follow the accounts, you could explain attachment theory at a dinner party. And still the voice in your head says you should be doing this better. We know that voice. We are Martin and Daria, two parents, and this is why we built TrustParent.

There is enough advice

The reel knows nothing about your child. The chatbot forgets you when you close the window. The perfect families on the screen never show the moment someone shouts. There has never been more advice about raising children, and parents have never been more alone with it.

The gap between knowing and doing

Everyone knows that yelling doesn't help. Everyone yells sometimes anyway. Knowledge was never the problem. The problem is the moment at eight, when the day is empty and the child says no for the third time. Conscious parenting, to us, means exactly this: not knowing more, but reacting differently in that moment. You don't learn that from a chapter. You learn it in small steps you actually take on a Tuesday.

Two parents, two phones, no plan

Then there's the logistics. Two households, a weekly plan nobody wrote down, a handover by text message at 10 pm, a calendar that lives in one parent's head. As long as the day doesn't work, there's no room to be present. That's why the calendar, the weekly plan and the handover live in the same app as the question cards. Not because they're the point. Because they make room for the point.

A plan, not a philosophy

So we built the thing we wanted ourselves: a five-minute family check that says honestly where your family stands. A Parenting Map that turns it into one small step, two weeks at a time. And a daily loop that fits a normal evening: a question card at dinner, a ten-minute game, a plan both parents can see. Small things you actually do, not a philosophy you admire and never apply.

The kids have their own voice

Children are not the problem the family solves. In TrustParent they get their own questions, their own tasks and their own view. Points and chores can be switched off per child, because a fourteen-year-old doesn't want stickers.

What we promise

Your words stay yours: nothing is sold, nothing trains anything, nothing is built to keep you scrolling. Mila, the assistant in the app, says plainly when a real person is needed. A child psychologist will review our work before the public launch in February 2027; her name goes on the site when she has said yes, not before. Until then, don't take our word for it. Do the free check and judge the texts yourself.
