Terms of service
The rules for using TrustParent, in plain words. Free stays free, Plus ends with two taps, and nothing here takes away the consumer rights of the country you live in.
Who we are and what these terms cover
These terms apply to the TrustParent app at app.trustparent.io, the website trustparent.io and the Parents School. The provider is G6 Agency AG, Bahnhof-Park 2, 6340 Baar, Switzerland, UID CHE-333.056.061 MWST, hello@trustparent.io.
By creating an account you accept these terms. This version is dated 12 October 2026. When we change something that matters, we tell you in the app at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel if you don't agree. (to be completed before payments start)
Free and Plus
Free is free for good, not a trial: the family check and the kids' check, your pattern, step 1 of the map, three question cards a week, reflection rounds and charades, calendar, tasks, weekly plan, handover, points and chores for all children, kids' mode, and Mila with three messages a day.
Plus adds the whole map, all cards, games and practices, redeeming rewards without limit and Mila without a daily limit. Plus costs $12.99 a month or $99 a year and covers one family: all children and up to five adults, in one home or two.
The Parents School costs $49 once, for both parents-to-be, and includes Plus until three months after the birth.
Beta families have Plus free until the public launch in February 2027, then six months at $6.49 a month. We write to you before that ends; nothing is charged unless you pick a plan.
Term and cancellation
The monthly plan renews every month and ends at the end of the month you cancel in. The yearly plan renews every year and ends at the end of the year you cancel in. We remind you by mail before a yearly plan renews.
You cancel in the app under Family › Settings › Subscription, two taps, no questions. The cancel page on this website links to the same place. Cancelling deletes nothing: the map, the calendar, the handovers, the children and their points stay, and you go back to Free.
We can close an account that breaks these terms, for example one used to harm a child or another person, or to attack the service. We tell you why, and your rights to your data stay as described in the privacy notice.
Prices and payment
The prices on this site are in US dollars and include VAT. In the app you see the price in your currency (CHF, EUR, USD). (to be completed before payments start)
Once payments start, they run through Stripe. Your card never reaches us. Plus is charged at the start of each month or year, the Parents School once. If we raise a price, we tell you at least 30 days ahead, and the new price applies only from your next renewal, so you can cancel first. (to be completed before payments start)
Our own promise, on top of the law: if you took the yearly plan and change your mind within 14 days, write to hello@trustparent.io and you get it back.
Right of withdrawal
If you live in the EU and buy as a consumer, you can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. How it works, and when the right lapses for digital content you asked us to open right away, is on the withdrawal page, together with a model form. (to be completed before payments start)
Availability and changes
We want the app to work at 11 pm and we build it that way, but we can't promise it's never down: maintenance, an outage at our hosting provider or at the AI provider can interrupt it. Until the public launch in February 2027 the app is a beta; things change, and some things break. You can export your data under Family at any time.
We keep changing the app: new cards and practices, new features, and now and then a feature that goes away. If something you pay for in Plus disappears for good, we tell you ahead, and you can cancel.
What we don't promise
TrustParent is not medical, psychological or therapeutic advice, and no text in the app, on this site or from Mila replaces a doctor, a psychologist or a counselor. The check is not a diagnosis and the patterns are not clinical categories. You know your family; what you do with a suggestion is your decision.
Mila is an AI. She runs on Claude, a model by Anthropic, and her answers are generated, not written by a person. She can be wrong, and the app tells you so before your first chat. When something is serious, she says so and points to real people. If a child or a parent is in danger, call your local emergency number.
Liability
We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. Beyond that, as far as the law allows, we are not liable for damage from using the site or the app, in particular from a suggestion that didn't fit your family, from a text that turned out to be wrong, or from the app being unavailable.
Nothing here limits rights that the consumer law of the country you live in gives you and that can't be waived. (to be completed before payments start)
Children
Accounts are for adults. You need to be at least 18 to create one. Children don't get accounts: kids' mode runs under a parent's account, on the parent's phone or on a phone the parent linked for the child, and the parent can revoke that link at any time. The parent who adds a child is responsible for how the child uses the app and consents on the child's behalf.
Your data
What we store, where it goes, how long we keep it and how you delete it is in the privacy notice. It is part of the deal, and it's written to be read.
Applicable law and venue
Swiss law applies, excluding the UN Sales Convention. Venue is Baar, Switzerland. (to be completed before payments start) If you live in the EU as a consumer, you can also sue at your home court, and the mandatory rules of your country apply regardless of this clause. If a part of these terms is invalid, the rest stays in force.
